- Please note: An introductory dive serves as a discovery experience rather than a formal certification course. Consequently, you can repeat this experience as many times as you like!

If you need a transportation to the harbour ask us.
If you need a diving insurance that covers the decompression chamber and any other costs caused by an accident that may happen to you on the way to the dive site or during the dive, we offer one which is 250 Thb for all your dives. To be paid at Blue Horizon Diving.
Pre requisites
Pre-requisites: You can start a “Try Scuba Diving” from 8 years old.
The children from 8 to 9 years old will be limited at 5 meters deep. From 10 years old, the maximum depth will be 12 meters.
Schedules - Program
Baptême at SAIL ROCK (boat diving): To Try scuba diving at sail Rock, the boat leaves every day at 8am and comes back at 2pm at Chaloklum pier. First of all, you will have the breakfast on the way there (50min ride). After you will do 1 dive. Then you will have a nice lunch on the boat. Afterwords you will do 1 dive and finally the boat will head back to Phangan.
Baptême at KOH TAO OR ANTHONG (boat diving): To Try scuba diving at Anthong or Koh Tao, the boat usually leaves at 8am and comes back at 4pm at Chaloklum pier. We dont go every day at those dive sites.
Baptême at HAAD YAO (beach diving): If you want to become confident, you can start in our pool or from the beach to build up your confidence. This easy environment will help you to get your buoyancy right. The same day, you will do the skills and dive (1 or 2 dives) anytime depending of the tides and our availabilities.
Swimming pool + Baptême : To build up slowly your confidence, you can start learning diving in our pool. Due to this easy environment, it will help you to get your buoyancy right. The consecutive day, you can go diving at Sail Rock, Anthong or Koh Tao for 2 dives with your instructor.
Keep a memory of your day
Keep some memories of your amazing experience of diving or snorkeling day. Your instructor can take professional underwater videos and pictures. We will send you all the files by “we transfer” afterwards. The price is 800 Thb for 1 person or 1000 Thb for 2 people or 1200 for 3 to 4 people.
Infos about dive sites
SAIL ROCK has everything to offer from macro diving to whale sharks, the bio-diversity and number of marine life found over there is really impressive.
Sail Rock has an amazing chimney. You can go inside using one of the 3 entrances which are at 5, 13 and 19 meters deep.
If you have a good buoyancy, we like to go through the canyon, which is quite shallow and very narrow! Its a good exercice to go through when we do some buoyancy specialty course.
As several smaller scattered rocks surround the main rock, we can dive around.
KOH TAO or ANTHONG: Around Koh Tao, there are a lot of dive spots in the bays. There, it is very easy diving for beginners but you wont see as many fishes as in Sail Rock. Anthong is a beautiful archipelago located west of Koh Phangan & Koh Samui. It consists of over 50 islands and an emerald salt water lake. HAAD YAO or KOH MAA: Had Yao is a shallow dive site where you really get long dives, with an impressive diversity of marine life from the porcupine puffer fish to the flat worm, without forgetting the sting ray and anemone fish.
