Certainly a Thailand Diving Liveaboard is the most enjoyable and convenient way to explore all these dive sites in one trip. Situated in the far east of the Indian Ocean, off the west coast of Thailand’s: The Andaman Sea. The Similan Islands Archipelago is located north east of the Surin islands. You found there the inescapable beauty and biodiversity of Richelieu Rock, therefore known as the best dive of Thailand.
Staying within the Andaman Sea and heading south we arrive at the Islands of Hin Muang, Hin Daeng and Koh Haa. Those dive sites are ranked among the best scuba diving destinations in the world.
The uninhabited virgin islands of Similan and Surin are located about 80 km northwest of Phuket and Khao Lak Due to the abundant variety of species encountered, they are considered the number one diving destination in Thailand.
The islands are national parks. There is ongoing reef conservation along with a turtle hatching protection program in place. Hence it helps to maintain them in perfect condition.
Further up Richelieu discover with us the Mergui Archipelago located in Myanmar Burma! Diving there is deemed exceptional. Both for the potential of the many unexplored sites around its 800 virgin islands, set in granite and limestone. It spans an area of 36,000 km², there is underwater richness everywhere.

Richelieu Rock is undoubtedly the best dive site in Thailand! The site is large, full of marine life and it often takes 3 dives to really appreciate it at its true value! Whale sharks and manta rays in season, large pelagic and rocks covered with beautiful soft corals.
