Your 1st step to become a dive instructor is to become an assistant instructor! Most of the time people combines AI, ITC & IE.

As a SSI Divemaster or a Divemaster from any recognized agencies (PADI, BSAC, CMAS, NAUI, NDL, ISO…), you can attempt the Assistant Instructor Course (See prerequisites).

This course gives you the basics to become later an Instructor.

Become a Training Specialist if you do not want to become an Open Water Instructor, but teach some specialties such as underwater photography or navigation …

Usually, candidates like to do assistant + instructor together in 1 go -> Instructor Training Course (ITC)

As soon as we will get the deposit, we will create your online profile and open your online course (on divessi.com) in your desired language.

PRE REQUISITES:

At least 18 years old

Have an RSTC medical certificate

To be certified Dive Master

Must have logged 75 open water dives minimum

Own professional diving equipment

Have a first aid certification, RCP and O2, validated in the last 2 years

Description

Once certified Assistant Instructor you will be able to:

Take Try Dive up to 5 meters (Baptism)

Lead the Scuba Skill Update Program

Teach the theoretical and practical part in shallow water of the Open Water, under the indirect supervision of an instructor.

Accompany students open water during the exploration part of diving 2,3 and 4 at a max ration of 2/1

 

Schedules - Program

SCHEDULES: 6 full days classroom + pool

PROGRAM: Ask us for the detail of the program day by day

Pool Cessions: as much as needed

Duration: 2 days personal preparation + 4 days course

Theory: Section 1-6 of Instructor Training Course

Academics + Practicals + Assistant Instructor final exam
